About the Position: Serve as the Lead General Supply Specialist serving as the Property Book Officer for the U.S. Army Audit Agency. Advise/direct the organizational property book. Perform, administer, and direct the property management program that includes both manual and automated property book. Perform evaluations of the agency's supply and property management operations. Ensure timely performance of work and performance standards are met. Evaluate the effectiveness of operations.
Duties
Direct manual and automated property book management programs.
Update property accountability systems to include equipment received from a variety of sources.
Obtain information from automated systems to catalog new equipment received.
Provide advice/guidance to resolve inventory or property records discrepancies.
Review requisitions for purchase, personal property, or supplies are properly authorized and processed.
Administers guidance relating to property accountability, procurement, shipping and receiving to ensure compliance.
Review and maintain records of billing statements, purchase order history, and supporting documentation within property book records.
Perform supply and service coordination is in compliance with applicable policies and procedures.
Maintain program and administrative reference materials pertaining to supply management, inventory, and maintenance in accordance with agency policy.
Prepare and maintain reports and records or work accomplished.
Plan and coordinate receiving and shipping of supplies and property withing the organization.
Coordinate receipt, storage, issue and disposal of supplies and equipment within the organization.
Oversee loading, staging, and storage or equipment and supplies within organization.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain an interim SECRET security clearance prior to employment and maintain a fully adjudicated SECRET security clearance during employment.
- PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT: Must occasionally carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
