The incumbent serves as a Web and Digital Content Specialist in the Digital Communications Branch, Strategic Communications Division, Accountability and Strategic Business Management (AHA) of Human Resource Management (AHR).
Duties
Plays a key role in the construction, editing, and publication of web pages and other digital content. Ensures content and design adhere to web standards such as accessibility, plain language, editorial style, FAA branding, and other federal standards and guidelines. Creates and designs mock-ups of web content in support of content creation and/or content improvement initiatives.

- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-F, FG/GS-9 level. This experience is typically related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been at least equivalent to the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization.Specialized experience is defined as:-Experience with Web Content Management Systems (CMS), especially Drupal and SharePoint-Experience with Web management best practices including: search engine optimization, user experience, user-interface design, responsive platforms and design, and accessibility standards to ensure the website is optimized for user experience-Experience applying Digital.gov web guidanceAND-Experience writing and applying Plain Language principlesYou should include relevant examples of the specialized experience in your work history.
