Duties
The Operations Support Assistant assists the Administrative Officer with compiling reports, responding to inquiries, reconciling information, processing travel documents, drafting executive correspondence, issuing credentials, and other administrative duties as assigned. The incumbent is primarily expected to complete the budget, requisition, and reconciliation process for the Dignitary Protection Unit.

Qualifications
Two years of office experience is required. Experience that has required working successfully under pressure, in a busy office, is preferred. Outstanding attention to detail, strong organizational skills, tact and a courteous demeanor are required. Work experience in a police, security or judicial environment is preferable. Knowledge of English grammar, spelling, and basic arithmetic as it applies to bookkeeping principles and financial record keeping are required. Experience working with Quicktime or a similar time and attendance system is strongly preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Access, and skill in following complex and varied oral and written instructions are required. Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships and to understand and interpret policies, directions and procedures applicable to the office are essential.
Education
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
