About the Position: This position is located at the William Beaumont Army Medical Center, Logistics Supply Chain in El Paso, TX.

Duties

Consult with Materiel Management Section personnel on matters such as special program requirements, status of requests, availability of requested item, substitutions. Advise the clinical staff on regional standardization agreements policies. Prepare inventory adjustment reports for the Chiefs of Clinical Departments. Serve as point of contact for all medical and surgical supply customer inquiries. Monitor budgetary control of departmental dollars and expenditures.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes preparing medical supply requests for orders, reviewing supply records for accuracy and utilizing automated database systems to enter and retrieve supply data. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
