About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command U.S. Army Counterintelligence Command HQ Fort Meade, MD..

Duties

Serves as the Logistics Management Specialist responsible for planning, developing, executing, and evaluating selected logistical programs as determined by USACIC Commander. Plans and coordinates office space requirements in accordance with organizational needs, available existing space, and planned construction. Serves as the primary action officer for USACIC in requesting support from the unit's higher headquarters on matters of inter-service support with logistics and facility space. Performs full range of contract administration/post-­award functions for a variety of complex critical major mission requirements, secure environment contracting, and research and development programs.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
• In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) based on a TS (or equivalent) investigation.
• Requires Temporary Duty (TDY) travel up to 25% of the time.
• All INSCOM employees may be subject to extended TDY or worldwide deployment during crisis situations to perform mission essential functions as determined by management.
