About the Position: The position is located at the Army Madigan Medical, Human Resources Office. Will Act as a liaison with Military Treatment Facility activities and the Civilian Human Resources Agency (CHRA). The work requires that the Incumbent is responsible for a variety of administrative functions, to include drafting and/or updating SOPs and local policies as directed by the supervisor.

Duties

Initiate all recruit/fill Requests for Personnel Action (RPAs) to ensure positions are supportable. Brief management on status and requirements in completing personnel actions on approved requests. Provide technical oversight of designated projects and personnel action procedures. Manage and utilize various automated information/data systems to collected data, gather information, prepare reports, and perform daily tasks.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation (NACI) (Tier 1).
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one-year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher levelgraduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Human Resources Management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
