Duties
Responsible for the design, implementation, standardization, upgrade and sustainment of the DLA Systems Center Configuation Manager (SCCM) and software distribution architecture.
Perform research, testing, hardening, deployment and sustainment of DLA Enterprise mobile device management infrastructure, cross platform support and mobile application services.
Establishes and maintains centralized vulnerability management capabilities, to include creation and enforcement of standard desktop and mobile device configuration policies.
Responsible for utilization and administration of performance and monitoring solutions designed to optimize use of infrastructure resources and ensure continuity within the DLA end-user computing environment.
Provide technical guidance, analysis, advice, and troubleshooting/problem resolution on a wide range of operational problems involving enterprise IT services.

Qualifications
To qualify for an IT Specialist (SYSADMIN/INFOSEC), your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-12 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Participate in defining critical computer resource requirements needed to support functionality to be executed at the mid-tier/desktop levels.
Analyze, advise, and recommend alternatives that satisfy current requirements and facilitate migration to standard technical architecture.
Evaluate procurement methodologies for acquiring hardware/software/communications used to support standard mid-tier/desktop/network configuration.
Review proposed new systems, networks, and software design for potential security risks.
