About the position: This position will be assigned to the Wright Patterson Community Services .
The purpose of the position is to perform a variety of manual tasks in food preparation and food service areas.
Frequently lifts or moves objects weighing up to 40 pounds. Continuous standing, walking, frequent stooping, reaching, pushing, pulling and bending.

Duties
Cleans daily the inside and outside of the truck to ensure the truck is ready for the next day. Assists with loading and stocking the truck to include but not limited to food for the day, paper supplies, drinks and any other items related to the operation. Restocks the truck at the end of the shift to ensure the truck is ready for the next day. Operates, breaks down and cleans all electrical equipment for food preparation. Cleans kitchen equipment (e.g., worktables, sinks and refrigerators). Separates food waste and trash from dishes, glasses and silverware in dishwashing area. Loads and operates dishwashers, stores clean dishes, glasses and silverware. Washes tables and counters, vacuums and shampoos carpets. Sweeps and mops kitchen floors, cleans windows, washes walls and cleans and sanitizes trashcans. Sorts, washes, peels and cuts fresh fruits and vegetables. Operates cash register; receives patron meal orders, rings up sales on cash register, receives money and makes change. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination.
- Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
