This position is located in the Office of Human Resources Operations (HRO), Talent Acquisition Team, Office of the Secretary (OST).  This position is established to provide comprehensive human resource management services to assigned organizations in the areas of recruitment and staffing, pay, leave, classification and position management.

Qualifications

To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience qualifications for the grade at which you are requesting consideration.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include: Experience applying HR principles, concepts, and practices; providing technical guidance and delivery of personnel and human resources services on human resources issues as it relates to recruitment and placement and organization design. OR experience as a team or project lead providing advisory services and oversight to other Human Resources Professionals of HR functions as it relates to experience with quality assurance, i.e., reviewing classification, staffing, and HR processing documents. Experience monitoring Human Resources work assignments through dashboards, reports, and/ or trackers to successfully manage workloads ensuring they meet and/or exceed required timelines. Or Experience applying analytical methods to identify, evaluate, and recommend to staffers and management appropriate action(s) to educate others and resolve recruitment/staffing issues. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Leadership- Influences, motivates, and challenges others; adapts leadership styles to a variety of situations. Personnel Human Resources - Plans, distributes, and monitors work assignments; evaluates work performance and provides feedback to others on their performance. Political Savvy - Identifies the internal and external politics that impact the work of the organization. Perceives organizational and political reality and acts accordingly.
