This position is located in the Researcher and Collections Services, National Audio-Visual Conservation Center (NAVCC), 19053 Mt. Pony Rd, Culpeper, VA 22701. The position description number for this position is 200514. The salary range indicated reflects the locality pay adjustments for the Washington, D.C., Metropolitan area. The incumbent of this position will work a flextime work schedule. This is a non-supervisory, non-bargaining unit position.

Qualifications

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to apply effective analytical and evaluative techniques to program operations related to audiovisual preservation.** Ability to plan and manage special projects.** Ability to perform liaison activities in support of administrative programs.** Ability to communicate in writing.** Knowledge of cultural history of one or more major areas of film, television, radio, or recorded sound production in the U.S., including laws regulations relating to audiovisual materials. Ability to apply administrative processes and techniques. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
