You will serve as a TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANT in the FLEET READINESS CENTER MID ATLANTIC FRCMA A/C DEPT CMD ADMIN BR of FRC SE DET MIDLANT OCEANA.

Duties

You will manage the Defense Travel System (DTS), DOD and DON Government Travel Credit Cards (GTCC) programs, DOD financial management debt collection. You will apply travel regulations, methods and processes, passports and visas, Joint Federal Travel Regulations (JTFR) volumes 1 and 2, and completion of TraX training. You will review and analyze official travel regulations to ensure processing requirements in an adequate time, technical date and interpret GTCC program requirements. You will familiarize with travel regulations, methods and processes, perform a wide range of interrelated and non-standard travel assignments, resolve a wide range of issues or problems that may arise in any emergency and non-emergency situation.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
