About the Position: Serve as the Supervisor to the Tool Room and Supply operations for the Ammunition Operations Quality Control Branch who receive, store, identify, issue, and deliver items used by production personnel.
Duties
Plan distribution, prescribe deadlines and sequence of work on a day-to-day or project-to-project basis for subordinates.
Explain all work requirements, methods, procedures, specific hazards, and safety precaution to all personnel.
Ensure all personnel, materials and equipment required for operations are at designated work site.
Review work in progress and upon completion.
Perform performance management including but not limited to setting performance standards, scheduling, and approving leave, counseling employees and position management.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of an Tools and Parts Attendant Supervisor without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform common supervisory duties such as giving instructions to a number of employees in accomplishing trades and labor work associated with ammunition, explosives, and ammunition component production line operations, with the ability to interpret and apply warehouse plans and check numbers and names of items on container labels to receiving documents.

PHYSICAL EFFORT:
Work requires standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Frequently lifts and carries items that weigh up to 10 pounds, and occasionally handles items weighing up to 40 pounds.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is done in a storage area that is well lighted and heated, but occasionally drafty and noisy. Is frequently exposed to the possibility of cuts, scrapes, and bruises.
