The Auditor Master is located in the Superior Court of the District of Columbia and has authority to execute orders of reference and conduct hearings to state accounts, determine the value of assets, and make other financial calculations. The position oversees the daily administration of the Office of the Auditor-Master, serves at the pleasure of the Executive Officer, and works under the general supervision of the Clerk of the Court for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited law school plus six (6) years of experience in leading, developing, planning, administering, and/or evaluating programs; with at least three (3) years of experience managing and supervising people in a public service agency, court system or legal environment.
Must be an active member in good standing with the unified District of Columbia Bar for a minimum of five (5) years immediately preceding appointment and have been engaged in the active practice of law in the District of Columbia, or served on the faculty of a law school in the District of Columbia, or employed in a legal capacity by the District of Columbia or the United States government, or any combination of the above.
To qualify you must provide evidence of progressively responsible leadership experience that is indicative of senior executive-level management capability and directly related to the skills and abilities outlined under Court Executive Service Core Qualifications (CESCQ) listed below. Typically, experience of this nature will have been gained at or above the GS/JS-15 grade level in the federal/DC Court service or its equivalent in the public/private sector. Candidates must possess senior-level management and technical experience. Candidates' experience must have been at a high level of difficulty to show clearly that the candidate possesses the professional and technical, as well as program knowledge, skills, and abilities outlined under the five CESCQ. Failure to meet the basic qualification and address the CESCQ factors automatically disqualifies an applicant.
