You will serve as a Supervisory Interdisciplinary Engineer/Scientist in the Spectrum Warfare Department of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE.
Duties
You will work with the Spectrum Warfare Department and Professional Recruitment Office to ensure alignment of activities to NP Program needs and vision.
You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining open and transparent communications, appropriately communicating information via Branch / Division / Department meetings, one-on-one meetings, and email, and regular interpersonal engagement.
You will be responsible for interfacing with product customers (IPT’s, TPO’s, EDT’s and other programs) to assess workforce personnel needs.
You will support be responsible for implementing the NAWCWD Command policies and regulations, such as Equal Employment Opportunity, safety, and security.
You will coach, mentor, and develop employees.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of ??????specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-09-12) or pay band (NM-03) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector in order to perform the duties of a Supervisory Program Analyst. Specialized experiences must include duties related to the following: (1) Developing others, have a working knowledge of the ESDP (Engineering Science Development Program); (2) Performing workforce planning, recruiting and hiring; (3) Implementing policies and regulations, such as Equal Employment Opportunity, safety, and security; and (4) Maintaining employee work schedules including assignments, job rotation, training, vacations and paid time off.

08XX Series:
Successful completion of a degree in Engineering. To be acceptable, the program must: (1) lead to a bachelor's degree in a school of engineering with at least one program accredited by ABET; or (2) include differential and integral calculus and courses (more advanced than first-year physics and chemistry) in five of the following seven areas of engineering science or physics: (a) statics, dynamics; (b) strength of materials (stress-strain relationships); (c) fluid mechanics, hydraulics; (d) thermodynamics; (e) electrical fields and circuits; (f) nature and properties of materials (relating particle and aggregate structure to properties); and (g) any other comparable area of fundamental engineering science or physics, such as optics, heat transfer, soil mechanics, or electronics.
OR
A combination of education and experience -- college-level education, training, and/or technical experience that furnished (1) a thorough knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering, and (2) a good understanding, both theoretical and practical, of the engineering sciences and techniques and their applications to one of the branches of engineering.
1520 Series:
Successful completion of a degree in mathematics; or the equivalent of a major that included at least 24 semester hours in mathematics
OR
A combination of education and experience -- courses equivalent to a major in mathematics (including at least 24 semester hours in mathematics), as shown in A above, plus appropriate experience or additional education.
1550 Series:
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science
OR
Successful completion of a bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
