You will serve as a Security Assistant in the Security Division of BUREAU OF NAVAL PERSONNEL.
Duties
You will research and maintain security data in support of the access control program of the command.
You will establish electronic personnel security records and databases for military and civilian personnel authorized access to classified material.
You will interview prospective employees and contractor or vendor personnel.
You will write official security reports to identify problems and resolutions.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Serving duties assisting senior security specialists with an organization's industrial security program, policies, and procedures; 2) Performing security program management, utilizing the Defense Information Security System (DISS) or similar system, and complying with Federal security requirements and local regulations; 3) Preparing approval or disapproval documents for security access to an organization; 4) Initiating and reviewing security investigations in e-QIP Direct for contractors and other command personnel requiring access; 5) Providing security briefings, security training, preparing and filing security administrative documents, and ensuring record management of the security program.
