You will serve as an Supervisory Intelligence Specialist at the GG-14 grade level responsible for planing, managing, and leading collection & analysis and operations for a diverse team of military/civilian personnel. This postion is located in Kunia, Hawaii.

Duties

You will present, coordinate, and defend operational priorities and winning support for the organization's programs with the broader Intelligence Community. You will maintain daily contact w/leadership at Fleet Cyber Command, U.S. Pacific Command, and various organizations throughout the Intelligence Community concerning mission-related activities. You will maintain awareness of validated strategic and operational Combatant Command requirements, as well as current events in assigned areas of responsibility. You will identify areas requiring additional policy guidance and develops, coordinates and recommends solutions to higher headquarters, including updates to command organizational structure to meet changes in requirements and shifts in workload. You will lead development of new methods and strategies for operations to meet Navy and national collection requirements.

  • You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
  • You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
  • Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
  • Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
  • Per DoD 8570.01M this position is identified as an Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level III position which requires a base IA certification within 6 months of assignment.
  • This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
  • This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
  • This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 332 level 03 within 12 months of appointment.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as: 1. Providing supervisory oversight to intelligence collection activities and develops strategies/goals for the organization. 2. Overseeing the production of an organizations intelligence information reports (IIRs) or intelligence products. 3. Briefing intelligence collection findings to senior leadership to assist in making informed decisions. 4. Interpreting and adapting guidelines/policy for the application of unique intelligence collection opportunities. 5. Interpreting and analyzing existing internal processes and procedures to address administrative management requirements and make recommendations for process improvement.
