Serves as a Human Resources (HR) Specialist, performing basic but progressively more difficult assignments under the direction of a manager, or more experienced HR Professional. Tasks and assignments require the application of HR concepts, principles, regulations and policy. Participates in the application of merit systems principles to assist managers to attract a high quality and diverse workforce.

Experience in substantive and relevant secretarial, clerical, or other responsible area may be qualifying as long as it provided evidence of the knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) necessary to perform the duties of this position.OR Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor’s degree, gained from an accredited college or university.
