Duties
You will serve was the Branch Head of the Studies and Analysis Branch in the Manpower and reserve Affairs Department.
You will formulate and construct comprehensive plans to define, guide, and control analysis and research efforts.
You will participate in Manpower and Reserve Affairs planning meetings in setting manpower and talent research goals and defining conditions for studies and research in these areas.
You will serve as the Manpower and Reserve Affair's primary subject on Accession and In- service Testing: Human Subjects Research, Studies and Analysis: and Artificial intelligence: Machine Learning: and Data Science.
You will assign tasks, prioritize workload, orchestrate activities, and ensure successful task completion by section analysts.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Basic Requirements:
Degree: Mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science or field directly related to the position. The degree must be in a major field of study (at least at the baccalaureate level) that is appropriate for the position.

Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major field of study (30 semester hours) as shown in paragraph A above, plus additional education or appropriate experience.
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: planning, directing and administering the daily management of operations to support and provide technical expertise for the development of Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
