You will serve as a Supervisory Traffic Management Specialist in the Personal Property Division of NAVSUP FLC PEARL HARBOR.
Duties
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates and makes assignments based on workload, priorities, availability, and capability.
You will provide group counseling services in an effort to reduce volume of customers coming for assistance.
You will lead process improvements events covering household goods entitlements, shipment and storage management, and vendor management.
You will collect and analyze workload data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver’s license.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1. Analyze work processes related to personal property shipment, storage regulations, and policies to measure efficiency and effectiveness; 2. Analyze and interpret household goods shipment and storage data to identify trends, resolve problems, and recommend process improvements; 3. Interpret a variety of entitlements, packing, crating, and storage regulations to solve broad and complex transportation problems; 4. Provide guidance or lead junior employees in the performing of transportation work.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS-09 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree, LL.B, J.D., or have completed two full years of graduate level education leading to such a degree with a major study of accounting, business administration, business or commercial law, commerce, economics, engineering finance, industrial management, statistics, traffic management, transportation, motor mechanics, or other fields related to the position. One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
GS-09 COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Combinations of successfully completed graduate education and experience may be used to meet total qualification requirements. combination of experience and/or graduate education as described above, along with possession of a certificate as a Certified Member, American Society of Transportation and Logistics
