As a Program Coordinator, the incumbent provides broad support for the work of the Neurodevelopmental and Phenotyping Services and its collaborations with other intramural and extramural research teams. The Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Phenotyping Service conducts developmental and behavioral evaluations on individuals with a variety of neurodevelopmental problems, focusing on young children and individuals of all ages with significant cognitive or social impairments.
Duties
The incubment will serve as the Program Coordinator within the NBPS, with duties such as but not limited to:
Plans, organizes, and oversees efforts and projects that are aimed at achieving and improving the quality, effectiveness, and timeliness of program accomplishments of the service.
Serves as an advisor to management and leadership on developing and implementing strategic plans in support of achieving the program objectives.
Assists with management and overseeing the NBPS research portfolios.
Serves as coordinator and primary screener conducting intake for patient protocols and patient related services.
Serves as the logistical coordinator for NBPS office with office administration. NBPS safety representative.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship requirement or proof of being a U.S. National must be met by closing date.

Qualifications
In order to qualify for a Program Coordinator, GS-0301 position at the GS-12 level, you must have 1 year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: providing program support for clinical research programs; coordinating research program activities with intramural or extramural research teams; developing methods to improve effectiveness in achieving research program objectives; administering patient services for research programs; and coordinating research program activities with other staff or organizations.
