Duties

Serve as the Administrative Officer for the 8th Theater Sustainment Command (TSC). Work directly for the Assistant Chief of Staff (ACofS) G1. Perform a variety of duties relating to the management of civilian administrative and personnel services programs for 8th TSC. Direct all administrative requirements for the organization under broad guidance of the 8th TSC Chief of Staff (CofS), ACofS G1, and the Senior Civilian. Apply a comprehensive understanding of administrative operations in conjunction with a high degree of understanding of civilian personnel administrative functions and programs. Make recommendations regarding utilization and management of the civilian workforce.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 5% of the time.
