This position is located in the Division of Resolutions and Receiverships, Headquarters Office located in Washington, DC or Dallas, TX Field Office of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of of deposit insurance and non-depositor related claims.

Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. CG-13: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-12 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience (1) reviewing and analyzing data and other documentation to calculate deposit insurance and make deposit insurance payment of claims in accordance with applicable FDIC Act rules and regulations; (2) providing guidance in the improvement of deposit insurance systems and processes; and (3) generating, reviewing, and analyzing reports using systems and software programs (a) in the coordination of allowing deposit or non-deposit claims and (b) in the development of Claims Strategic Resolution Plans for large financial institutions.
CG-14: To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience (1) reviewing and analyzing data and other documentation to calculate deposit insurance and make deposit insurance payment of claims in accordance with applicable FDI Act rules and regulations; (2) providing guidance in the improvement of Claims Administration systems and processes; and (3) generating, reviewing, and analyzing reports using systems and software programs (a) in the coordination of terminating employee benefit plans and (b) in the development of Claims Strategic Resolution Plans for large and complex financial institutions.
