This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Office of Capital Access, Office of Financial Program Operations (OFPO) in either Herndon, VA or Washington, D.C. The purpose of this position is to serve as a technical subject-matter expert in conducting performance audits of work completed by loan center personnel assigned to various departments, including commercial loan processing, servicing, resolution, and guaranty purchase, as well as disaster loan servicing and resolution.

Qualifications

GS-13: One year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service) obtained in either the private or public sector such as performing in-depth analysis of obligor's financial statements and earning potential of a variety of business enterprises to make recommendation for residential and commercial/business loan applications or servicing/liquidations actions, including a thorough working knowledge of a variety of collateral, business type, loan program and general economic conditions. Incumbent must also have experience develop and providing feedback or corrective action recommendations to others regarding financial services transactions.
