As a Capital Development Program Manager, you will serve as a senior manager directing project management activities for the organization. You will serve as a senior consultant on capital development project matters and act as a consultant/regional liaison on project management matters.
Location of Position: Public Buildings Service, Region 5, Design and Construction, Project Delivery Division.
We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.
Duties
This position is located in the Public Buildings Service, Design & Construction, Project Delivery Division. This division provides project management and procurement services for all regional capital construction projects.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $122,198 per year. Salary is determined by the location for which you are selected.
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service
Specialized experience is leading people in diverse occupations (professional, technical, administrative, and trades) to accomplish project goals and exercising full responsibility for the administration of large construction projects including overseeing and coordinating phased renovation, whole building modernization and/or new construction for large prospectus level projects (of at least 60,000 square feet and/or construction costs in excess of $15 million). Such experience must include: project planning; construction scheduling; construction logistics; budgeting, estimating, cost analysis and control; providing expert technical advice on the utilization of resource allocation models to develop cost and personnel budgets; conducting contract negotiations; and performing contract administration and close-out.
