This position is located at US Mint,San Francisco Mint-MANUFACTURING DEPT/San Francisco. You will specialize in conducting training related to the methods, procedures, and techniques for operating, troubleshooting, adjusting, and repairing specific and routine sections of complex PVD chambers, polishers, lasers, ultrasonic cleaners, annealing furnaces, complex stamping presses, upset mills, burnishing mills, other production equipment, and support equipment.
Duties
As a DIE FINISHING SPECIALIST TRAINING LEADER, you will:
Monitor employee on-the-job performance. Monitor the daily job performance, assigns refresher training as needed, and tracks re-training progress, and coordinates with the employee's supervisor to evaluate the employee's performance and to document accordingly.
Develop proposed certification plan by using the progress trackers and certification project trackers, and record dates of classroom training attendance, hands on training, quizzes, module exams and certification.
Train and certify Die Finishing Specialists, Buffer and Polishers, Die Setters, Heat Treaters, Metal Forming Machine Operators, and Material Treatment Machine Operators in all aspects of their jobs, including but not limited to, the operations, dismantling and repairing specific sections of automatic and semi-automatic presses, annealing furnaces, burnishing mills, rimming machines, lasers, polishers, ultrasonic cleaners, other production equipment, and support equipment.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service.
