The primary purpose of this position is to manage Eglin's Publications and Forms Management (PFM) program, Eglin's Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Technologies, and Eglin's Section 508 Coordinator program.
Duties
Manages Publication and Form Programs.
Manages the Air Force Information Management Publishing Tool (AFIMPT), to ensure wing publications and forms are maintained accurately and effectively.
Manages Eglin's Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Technologies.
Manages Eglin's Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Program.

- Work is generally performed in an office setting. A moderate amount of walking and standing is required when attending meetings and conferences, and in visiting other offices and buildings.
Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Management and Program Analysis Series. Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower grade GS-07, or equivalent in other pay systems. Examples of specialized experience includes analyze, develop, evaluate, improve and promote compliance with policies, plans, methods, procedures, systems or techniques. Managing specific enterprise information management technologies such as computer programs and systems. Knowledgeable of a wide range of Knowledge Management principles, concepts, and methods to include: Publications and Forms Management (PFM), Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Technologies, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Coordinator through applicable legislation, DoD regulations, and AF policies NOTE: Due to the use of 120-day rosters, this period of experience may be completed within 120 days of the closing date of this announcement.

EDUCATION: Applicants must possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree or equivalent graduate degree in a directly related field of study or completed 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education in a directly related field of study leading to such a degree. COMBINATION OF EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Applicants have less than the full amount of specialized experience described in "A" above; however, I have completed some graduated-level education as described in "B" above. FEDERAL TIME-IN-GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT FOR GENERAL SCHEDULE (GS) POSITIONS: Merit promotion applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year at the GS-07 level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-09 level. TIG applies if you are in a current GS position or held a GS position within the previous 52 weeks.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1.Knowledge of a wide range of Knowledge Management principles, concepts, and methods to include: Publications and Forms Management (PFM), Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Technologies, and Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Coordinator through applicable legislation, DoD regulations, and AF policies.
2.Knowledge of PFM, EIM Technologies, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Coordinator procedures, and guidelines for federal agencies.
3.Knowledge of Publications and Forms Management; electronic publishing techniques, and publishing distribution processes, EIM Technologies, and Section 508 to ensure proper administration of programs.
4.Knowledge of automated programs sufficient to enter and retrieve data, construct, and maintain statistical and data e-files.
5.Knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, capitalization, and format to be able to accurately prepare and edit written correspondence and reports.
6.Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.
7.Skill in providing technical advice in terms of oral and written briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and unit technicians.
8.Skill in presenting and implementing new/changed programs and procedures.
9.Skill in executing projects and/or studies within financial and time constraints.
10.Skill in creating slide presentations and manipulating data for reports and metrics.
11.Ability to manage specific enterprise information management technologies such as computer programs and systems. Must have a comprehensive knowledge of personal computers, software applications, and automated systems such as the AF Information Management Publications Tool.
12.Ability to gather, analyze, and evaluate information, to draw conclusions for accomplishing the programs; select and apply procedures to most effectively tailor the programs to requirements and formulate and present sound recommendations.
13.Ability to develop and deliver training in installation standard operating procedures.
14.Ability to determine objectives, make sound, well-informed, and objective decisions, set priorities, cause change, and accomplish organizational goals.
15.Ability to recognize and analyze problems, conduct research, summarize results, and make appropriate recommendations.
16.Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships in the work environment.
17.Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
