You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the FINANCIAL DIVISION of HQ US MARINE CORPS.
Duties
You will serve as the senior liaison for budget, accounting, or financial management policy and procedures within the organization.
You will provide technical and administrative oversight, advice, instruction and assigns work to subordinates based on employee’s capabilities, priorities and difficulty.
You will plan work, sets priorities and schedules work as necessary to assure effective and expeditious accomplishment of priority work without adverse effect on regular and recurring work. Looks to improve production and quality of work.
You will prepare briefs for senior managers on program execution and provides recommendations to correct program variances or problem areas.

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:Supervising and maintain management control of multiple projects under development and implementation. Providing technical advise, experience with processing military pay and allowances, providing finance, administrative policies and procedures, financial audit processes, controls, accreditation; AND performs functional systems analysis (financial and technical), analyzes system processing problems/deficiencies, review and research of system design logic to initiate projects, evaluate scope of severity of problems to provide specification for corrective action necessary to repair. .
