Duties
As an Electronic Industrial Controls Mechanic Supervisor, you will:
Supervise the performance of electronic industrial controls work assignment such as the maintenance, repair, calibration and certification highly complex electronic test, measurement, and reference equipment.
Plan and complete works assignments and exercise judgement in determining methods and techniques required to solve maintenance and repair problems.
Perform testing, troubleshooting, repair, overhauling, modification, and calibration of broad range of highly complex electronic precision measurement equipment.
Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of electronic controls and indicating and recording system used on industrial machinery in high pressure boilers, centrifugal refrigeration units, air compressor units, and/ or in energy monitoring and controls systems.
Supervise work on new or prototype systems that are characterized by application of advanced electronic theory and technological changes in the systems.
Supervise operational tests on complex systems and equipment and coordinates efforts with technical and professional personnel on changes to equipment and operating specifications.
Exercise the full range of supervisory responsibilities over the subordinate staff, including interviewing and recommending selections for positions, planning and assigning work, setting priorities and deadlines, evaluating progress and outcomes, establishing and clearly communicating guidelines and performance expectations.

Qualifications
Applicants will be rated in accordance with the OPM Qualification Standard Handbook X-118C. Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most blue-collar positions, you must meet any screen-out element listed and show through experience and training that you possess the level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position.
