About the Position: Serves as a Producer/ Director for the Army Medical TV Division/ Production branch, located in Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Duties

Perform production of audiovisual products utilizing different production methods and techniques. Develop new techniques and approaches to translate subject-matter ideas and information into unique audiovisual products. Prepare production cost data and provides input data for preparation of travel order. Determine sources and selects most effective historical stock footage for production.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 20% of the time.
  • This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
  • This position has a requirement to lift up to 30 lbs. in the regular performance of duties.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Applies Technology to TasksCommunications and MediaMultimedia TechnologiesOrganizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
