About the Position: This position is with the Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army (Procurement) (ODASA(P) in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Acquisition, Logistics and Technology), This position directly supports ODASA(P), located in Arlington VA.
Duties
Serves as the primary editor for OASA(ALT) and performs as a Staff Actions coordinator of the HQDA tracking system.
Applies a extensive knowledge of OASA(ALT) organizational structure, mission and functions to assist in the completion of simultaneous complex taskings.
Responsible for successful staffing of tasker actions originating from a variety of sources and intended for a variety of sources.
Ensures compliance with regulations and procedures governing SACO's mail and distribution management.
Reviews and analyzes administrative directives and policies from higher echelons to determine impact on SACO operations.
Develops effective policy for implementation and execution of programs to accomplish mission requirements.
Requirements

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience at the next lower grade NH-02/GS-11 or equivalency which includes: 1) Advises the Executive Officer and senior level decision makers in the organization on the disposition of a variety of substantive staff actions and assignments; 2) Respond to requests for information and recommendations on issues on operations, mobilization and readiness; equipment modernization requirements and prioritization; strategy, plans and policy; and training; 3) Studies and evaluates issues and data presented to assign actions to the appropriate staff element; and 4) Manages, analyzes, operates, and recommends improvements to the automated tracking system. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02 or GS-11).
