The Program Support Assistant - Connected Health Technician serves as facility champion, leads facility teams to support existing and future Veteran communication initiatives, and coordinates local implementation, training, communications, and outreach of these modalities.
Duties
Major duties include but are not limited to:
Ensure facility successfully meets all nationally mandated goals for the Connected Health Program.
Establish, develop, and implement local My HealtheVet (MHV)-related goals and strategies to meet goals.
Manage communication plans that identify target audiences.
Ensure accountability via written communication as it relates to MHV.
Assist in the development, implementation, maintenance documentation of MHV internal and control policies and procedures.
Collect, develop, implement, and document data to assist management with MHV operational decisions.
Lead the facility's efforts to integrate My HealtheVet and Secure Messaging among healthcare providers and patients.
Identify significant changes in the way employees will integrate Connected Health programs into VA care.
Develop and deliver presentations to all levels of the VAMC/HCS to inform of the Connected Health offerings.
Develop multimedia campaign materials to enlighten the target population.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 02/06/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.
Minimum Qualifications for GS-07: You must qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (GS-06) in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: experience with Connected Health programs/modalities; performing a variety of administrative duties; collecting data to develop reports; creating/editing multimedia materials (i.e., printed articles, brochures, videos); and utilizing various software systems, such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
