This position is located in the Small Business Administration, Santa Ana National Disaster Loan Resolution Center in Santa Ana, CA. The incumbent serves as the Director of the assigned Loan Operations Center and is responsible for the direction of loan processing, servicing, liquidation, and collection of the Center for a nationwide loan program.

Duties

As a Supervisory Loan Specialist, GS-1165-15, you will be responsible for: Performing the full range of managerial duties and responsibilities in directing all work of assigned Center; develops long-term goals and objectives, establishes, and adjusts priorities; determines resource needs; allocation of resources and accounts for their effective use. Planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating procedures at assigned loan Center and is responsible for performance and quality of work performed. Reviewing staffing requirements for the Center, justifying additional staffing as required; prepares position descriptions, performance standards and evaluates performance of Loan Operation Center employees. Cultivating a culture of employee engagement; establishes and communicates vision and long-term goals to Center employees; involves employees in formulation of Center goals and initiatives, as appropriate; communicates regularly on progress toward organizational goals.

Qualifications

GS-15: One year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector: Managing a liquidation portfolio consisting of consumer + commercial real estate; and Managing loan officers who evaluate consumer and commercial credit risk; and Developing center goals and overall agency credit quality goals to carry out agency mission. These qualifications must be clearly referenced in your resume.
