This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Supervision/Management Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA OC/DISA GLOBAL BUSINESS OPERATIONS DIVISION, Command Support Branch RN-13.
Duties
Establishes short and long-term plans for managing facilities, real property, and special projects.
Coordinates with assigned engineering elements of Base Civil Engineering and DISA Network Engineers to prepare Command support and mission planning requirements.
Responsible for the overall management and integration of the Command Support activities.
Supervises Strategic Planning for the command to include short-range and long-term facility planning to support activities to execute the mission.
Provides administrative oversight responsibility for DISA Global and associated DISA organizations' real property, including Support Agreements and Service Contracts.
Assigns work to be completed by subordinates, sets immediate priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.

Qualifications
Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Developing and executing facility contracts; monitoring issues and performance of building systems and/or equipment; coordinating specification reviews for new construction projects; analyzing data on facility management topics to develop short and long-range goals; and identifying types of funds to meet requirements.

Education
