You will serve as the principal advisor to the Director and Deputy Director on workplace Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility (DEIA), to include addressing the provisions of E.O. 14035 “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the federal Workforce,” regulations and guidelines promulgated with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), and other related legal and programmatic requirements.

Qualifications
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet the specialized experience requirements.To qualify for the Grade 14, you must have at least one year of experience equal or equivalent to the GS-13, it must include:
Experience analyzing and evaluating transportation related programs and developing solutions and strategies for solving problems identified in such analyses.
Experience monitoring indicators and mechanisms for changes in Federal, State and local goals, policies, priorities and budgets, and interpreting the impacts of these developments on Federal Transit assistance programs, legislation, policies, priorities and funding allocations.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Planning and Evaluating- - Organizes work, sets priorities, and determines resource requirements; determines short- or long-term goals and strategies to achieve them; coordinates with other organizations or parts of the organization to accomplish goals; monitors progress and evaluates outcomes.
Project Management- - Knowledge of the principles, methods, or tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources, including monitoring and inspecting costs, work, and contractor performance.
Problem Solving- - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
Oral and Written communication- - Makes clear and convincing oral presentations. Listens effectively; clarifies information as needed. Writes in a clear, concise, organized, and convincing manner for the intended audience.
