About the Position: This position is located at Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, with the Directorate of Missile and Aerospace Readiness (DMAR).

Duties

Direct subordinates in the recertification and maintenance of missiles. Assist personnel in areas of human resources such as training, on-boarding new employees, union interaction, and employee discipline. Supervise the performance of the technical and mechanical processes required to support ammunition activities. Oversee the repair/testing technicians who specialize in the areas of electronics and instrumentation to conformance of processing standards. Manage multiple programs such as safety, quality, manpower, procurement, lean, and supply.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
  • Business travel/temporary duty (TDY) may be required up to 15% of the time.
  • Mobility Agreement required to assigned areas world-wide to support the mission.
  • This position is covered by the 1996 Lautenberg Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968; persons convicted of a misdemeanor or felony crime of domestic violence are not eligible.
  • Ammunition certification in accordance with AMC-R 350-4 is required within one year of appointment.
  • Arms, Ammunition, and Explosives Screening in accordance with AR 190-11 required initially and annually.
  • Pre-employment and annual physical examinations required.
  • Position is subject to a pre-employment drug screening, and random testing thereafter.
  • Probationary period of one year may be required.
  • One-year supervisory probation period may be required.
  • Financial Disclosure OGE-450 required upon entering the position and annually.
