The Office of Aerospace Medicine (AAM) develops and manages medical programs in support of Aviation Safety.

Duties

Facilitates the administrative program requirements to achieve the efficient operation of the assigned Regional Aerospace Medicine Division.

Requirements

• US Citizenship is required.
• Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
• Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
• A one-year probationary period may be required.
• Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify at the FV-F (FG/GS 5-9) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least three (3) years of progressively responsible general work experience, one (1) year of which was equivalent to at least a GS-4, that demonstrates the ability to: Analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions;Plan and organize work; andCommunicate effectively. ORSuccessful completion of a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree gained from an accredited college or university.ORCombination of education and experience may be qualifying for this position.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of the announcement.
