About the Position: This position will serve as a Training Specialist (Life Cycle Program Manager) at the Directorate of Training and Doctrine (DOTD), Fires Center of Excellence (FCoE) located in Fort Sill, OK.

Duties

Advise leaders in the application of training technology strategies to enhance resident instruction and program doctrine. Design and develop Programs of Instruction (POI) and Training Support Packages that include lesson plans, tests, practical exercises, student evaluation plans, and other training materials. Implement pilot projects and training programs through Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation (ADDIE) procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Temporary Duty (TDY) travel is approximately 15%.

Develop training materials regarding Air Defense Artillery (ADA) weapons and components such as academic directions, training exercises, and evaluations in order to present for instruction; 2). Research changes in the ADA field in order to prepare for training regarding weapon(s) systems; and 3). Evaluate course training effectiveness in ADA related courses in order to implement proposed changes. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 or above). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Education / Training Program AdministrationLearning and Program EvaluationTraining and Education AnalysisWritten Communication Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
