About the Position: This is a Multimedia Information Specialist, GS-1001-12, position with the Directorate of Training and Doctrine (DOTD), located at Fort Novosel, AL This position is a TERM Not to Exceed 3 years position. It is time limited and may be extended up to a maximum of eight years.

Duties

Develops prototypes, designs, and produces final graphics for posters, brochures, and various other print media. Creates graphics, images, illustrations, and animation for incorporation into web productions for worldwide access and dissemination. Takes abstract concepts and highly technical content that often has no precedent, for use in video productions, visual presentations, and virtual events. Ensures quality control, timely delivery, and the most efficient cost method to produce the final product that meets agreed upon schedules/ expectations, adds value, and visually and verbally expresses ideas that are both distinctive and innovative. Establishes and maintains a variety of professional contacts at higher headquarters to plan, develop, and recommend solutions to training related problems through the functions and capabilities of multimedia education and technology.

Requirements
