About the Position: Responsible for coordinating, designing and producing original multimedia for DOTD Fort Novosel, AL. Provide interactive distance and resident multimedia instructional research, design, development, implementation, training and assessment capabilities. Provide interactive multimedia design and development support and supplemental learning material for learning and media development using advanced technology software/courseware and multimedia resource laboratories techniques.

Duties

Develops prototypes, designs, and produces final graphics for posters, brochures, and various other print media. Creates graphics, images, illustrations, and animation for incorporation into web productions for worldwide access and dissemination. Takes abstract concepts and highly technical content that often has no precedent, for use in video productions, visual presentations, and virtual events. Ensures quality control, timely delivery, and the most efficient cost method to produce the final product that meets agreed upon schedules/ expectations, adds value, and visually and verbally expresses ideas that are both distinctive and innovative. Establishes and maintains a variety of professional contacts at higher headquarters to plan, develop, and recommend solutions to training related problems through the functions and capabilities of multimedia education and technology.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
