You will serve as a Supervisory IT Specialist (APPSW) in the Corporate Operations Department, Information Technology Division, Information Management (IM) Branch of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Duties
You will supervise the Enterprise Services Branch responsible for the development and maintenance of compliant business information systems through project management and system engineering.
You will approve leave, develop performance standards, evaluate employee performance, interview and select candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignments.
You will conduct multiple supervisory duties taking into consideration skills and qualifications, mission requirements, equal opportunity and diversity objectives.
You will manage cloud/data center migrations and operations efforts in support of business systems.
You will manage Digital Transformation works in support of enterprise application transformation and High Performance Computing.
You will define standards and measures for quality, application development, and customer satisfaction requirements.
You will develop robust metrics that foster continuous improvement.
You will monitor the activities and tasks of contractor support efforts to ensure that it is effective and of the highest quality.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading a team using agile practices to develop and maintain business information software, projects, and cloud migrations with strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to guide a diverse team of software developers. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
