Duties
Prepare, justify, report, and execute the budget while ensuring cost-effective support of programs and policies.
Utilize financial management systems (such as GFEBS) in order to analyze data pertaining to budgets and administrative programs ensuring data integrity is maintained.
Provides technical authority for the organization on budgetary matters.
Develops performance plans to appraise performance.
Supervises employees engaged in budget development.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- This is a Financial Management Level 3 Certified position designated. Incumbent of this position is required to comply with all Department of Defense and Department of the Army requirements of this certification program.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential". In the event of severe weather conditions or other such emergency type situations the incumbent is required to report to work or remain at work as scheduled to support mission operations.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: Recommending actions and solutions to complex resources utilization problems; Analyzing monthly budgeting and accounting reports to maintain expenditure controls; Utilizing an automated financial or accounting related system to prepare detailed budget; and Overseeing projects or personnel.
