This position is located at Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of Communications, External Affairs Division. The incumbent will develop and execute digital content strategies to engage CFPB audiences through owned digital channels, including the CFPB website, social media accounts, and mass email distribution.
Duties
As a Digital Content Specialist, you will:
Set digital engagement goals and metrics for CFPB target audiences in partnership with management in the Office of Communications.
Conceive, develop, and execute content strategy and digital campaigns to engage and retain these audiences.
Develop targeted digital communications messages to reach and retain target audiences on digital channels.
Work closely with other CFPB offices to identify, plan, and realize new opportunities for digital engagement.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.
Specialized Experience For CN-53: One year of experience at the CN-52 (the CN-52 is broadly equivalent to the GS-12) level or equivalent that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Drafting digital content strategies to engage audiences through owned digital channels, including an organization's website, social media accounts, and mass email distribution; AND
Drafting digital engagement goals and metrics for target audiences, analyzing, and evaluating information to understand user experiences and expectations using two-way communications, user experience best practices, user research, and other sources of information; AND
Partnering with other content developers and reviews content for alignment with communications messaging and digital best practices to improve an organization's web content, email outreach, and social media engagement.

Part-time experience will be credited pro-rata based on a 40-hour work week, while work of 32 hours or more will be rounded up to full-time experience.
