Duties

-Performs inspection, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and structures associated with hydro-electric powerplant and dam facilities. -Cleans, lubricates, and checks the mechanical operation of the turbines, governors, and auxiliary equipment, including air compressors, water pumps, ventilating fans, oil pumps, and other powerplant equipment. -Assists other journeyman crafts with maintenance and performing switching and clearance procedures associated with hydro-electric powerplant and dam facilities.
