This position is located in the Architect of the Capitol, Assistant Superintendent, Facility Operations Division, Maintenance Branch, Plumbing Section. The selectee serves as an Journeyman level Pipefitter performing troubleshooting, repair and installing plumbing systems and components in assigned Capitol Complex work sites that include monumental iconic historic buildings with a complex infrastructure on Capitol Hill.

Duties

Tour of duty for this position is: 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday night 10:30 PM-7:00 AM) and/or 1st shift (Monday - Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM).

Qualifications

You must meet all eligibility and qualification requirements by the closing date of the job announcement.You must meet the following SCREEN-OUT(S) required for this position. Skilled in performing journey-level pipefitter work without more than normal supervision. Must demonstrate expert electronic skills to operate the Building Automation System (BAS) system.
