The incumbent administers the full range of information technology (IT) and administrative management functions.
Duties
As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist at the GS-2210-14 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Evaluates USMS' mission, goals, plans, business processes, and programs, and develops and implements enterprise architecture strategies and plans that address mission-critical program objectives
Plans and manages USMS-wide IT projects involving innovative concepts or approaches where precedents do not exist
Provides technical advice in the monitoring and evaluation of contractor activities on contracts covering USMS-wide systems
Supervises IT staff
Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for staff members

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
- This is a Testing Designated Positions (TDP) and is subject to random drug testing.
- May be required to successfully complete a trial/probationary period.
- May be required to successfully complete a supervisory probation period.
- Status Candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements (52 weeks at the next lower grade level).

Qualifications
TIME-IN-GRADE REQUIREMENTS: Merit Promotion and Veterans Employment Opportunity Act (VEOA) Status applicants must provide an SF50 Notice of Personnel Action that indicates proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility. The SF50 must include the position, title, series, grade, step, tenure, type of service (Competitive or Excepted) and career status (career or career-conditional). No award SF50 will be accepted as proof of status and time-in-grade eligibility.
One year at the GS-13 grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the GS-14 grade level.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To be considered minimally qualified for this position, you must demonstrate that you have the required experience for the respective grade level(s) in which you are applying:

Experience: You must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below, and you must support it with information contained in your resume, and other application materials.

AND
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service that demonstrates your experience with:
Implementing IT enterprise architecture plans that address mission-critical program objectives;
Assisting with planning and managing IT projects;
Providing technical advice in monitoring and evaluating contractor activities on contracts covering organization-wide IT systems; and
Assisting with developing short and long range plans for the management of human resources.
