This position is located in the Health Services Division, Integrated Support Services Directorate, Chief Operating Officer. 

Duties

This position is located in the Integrated Support Services Directorate (ISS) in the Health Services Division (HSD). The Health Services Division is responsible for the occupational health and wellness program and workers compensation program for Library employees and emergency medical response for employees and visitors to the Library. The Program Specialist provides staff support, technical support, and advice in a wide range of matters related to the fulfilling the mission of the Integrated Support Services Directorate and specifically to the Health Services Division leadership.

Qualifications

Applicants must have had progressively responsible experience and training sufficient in scope and quality to furnish them with an acceptable level of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties of the position without more than normal supervision. Ability to Problem Solve and Make Recommendations Related to Administrative and Program Needs. ** Ability to Serve as a Liaison and Interact Collaboratively with Others. ** Ability to use and manipulate computer systems and software applications. ** Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, and perform duties and tasks. ** Ability to communicate in writing. Ability to Exercise Initiative, Good Judgment and Discretion. Ability to communicate effectively other than in writing.
