As a Permitting Liaison you may:
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- This employer participates in the e-Verify program.

- May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
- These positions are to be filled under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA - P.L. 117-58) or Inflation Reduction Act.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-12: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Providing support for permitting and environmental reviews for projects funded by federal appropriations and/or programs (i.e., Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, or similar legislation).; AND
Coordinating activities with a focus on permitting to ensure consistency and compliance with environmental laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level.; AND
Analyzing environmental, sociocultural, and community impacts for energy infrastructure projects.; AND
Conducting internal/external stakeholder outreach related to energy actions and investments.

Serving as a permitting specialist to inform environmental reviews for projects funded by federal appropriations (i.e., Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, Inflation Reduction Act, or similar legislation).; AND
Planning and organizing activities that support implementing programs with a focus on permitting to ensure consistency and compliance with environmental laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local level.; AND
Analyzing environmental, sociocultural, and community impacts for energy infrastructure projects that accelerate equitable deployment of clean energy resources and climate goals.; AND
Conducting internal/external engagements and stakeholder outreach to support strategies for energy actions and investments.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
