About the Position: This position is with the Army Geospatial Center located at the Humphreys Engineer Center Support Activity, 7701 Telegraph Road, Alexandria, VA 22315. This is a permanent position.

Duties

Serve as Interdisciplinary analyst and Contracting Officer Technical Representative (CTOR) within a focused geospatial support Team of a Branch of the Warfighter Support Directorate, Army Geospatial Center (AGC). Collaborate on the work of supporting scientists and engineers within AGC, outside agencies, and contractors concerned with the mission of the Branch. Lead the integration of complex Geospatial Intelligence systems. Serve as technical advisor on functions and data contained in automated data systems. Act as a Contracting Officer Technical Representative and conduct surveillance activities on automated information system related contracts and contractors.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to obtain and/or sustain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • This position requires the incumbent to travel up to 15% of the duty time.
  • This position requires the incumbent to submit to a pre-employment drug test, and randomly thereafter.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Database Management SystemsProject ManagementTechnical Competence Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
