This position is with the Small Business Administration, Office of Field Operations - Region V in Indianapolis, IN. The incumbent provides oversight of SBA program grantees and resource partners to include compliance reviews, site visits and other monitoring activities. The work involves extensive planning, knowledge and decision making.
Duties
This position is ONLY open to surplus and displaced Small Business Administration employees eligible for the Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP); displaced Federal employees in the local commuting area eligible for the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP); and VEOA eligibles.
Requirements
- You must be a U.S. Citizen
- You must successfully complete a background investigation.
- You may be required to serve a one-year probationary period.
- Valid Driver's License is Required
Qualifications
GS-12
Specialized Experience: At least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service, obtained in either the private or public sector that includes working independently in:
(1) Developing marketing strategy for programs and services for growth and development of a customer base; AND
(2) Developing and delivering outreach, training, presentations and education on a variety of business management, financial management or lending topics related to small business; AND
(3) Building and managing collaborative alliances and partnerships with a variety of business development partners.
