DOE's Clean Energy Corps is made up of staff from more than a dozen offices across DOE. Duties
This series covers positions managing, supervising, leading, and/or performing administrative and management work.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
- This employer participates in the e-Verify program.

- Subject to satisfactory security and suitability requirements.
- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.
- Selectee must be able to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance. Failure to obtain and maintain the required security clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is covered under funding provided under the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and/or the Inflation Reduction Act approved by Congress and the Biden administration.
- This position is included in a Bargaining Agreement.
- This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) subject to applicant testing and random drug testing.
- Occasional travel may be required.
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS GS-13: You must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience for this position includes:
Overseeing space, property and facilities management duties; AND
Implementing security programs, facilitating requests for background investigations; AND
Tracking completion of security tasks and verifying security clearances; AND
Researching and interpreting program related laws, regulations, and guidelines and making recommendations for improvements.
"Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
